What is Cold Heading Wire?
Stainless Steel Wire for Cold Heading is a special wire made by special heat treatment processed from copper-bearing austenitic steel 302CHQ, 304HQ, 304, 430 and other grades used for cold heading fasteners.

What is Cold Heading?
Cold heading process refers to the drawn-to-size wire is fed into the cold heading machine through a cut-off die, hammered and cut into pieces of fasteners or nails once the wire nails forms to desired shape and reaches to a specific length. Wire parts can be extruded or upset multiple times in the cold forming process to produce complex finished parts.

The cold heading process in fasteners and nails making enables a piece of wire form into the designed shape without the waste of wire materials, hence reduce the cost for our customers.
